March 21st is not only the first day of spring, but it celebrates the Fragrance Day. This event was proclaimed in 2017 by the Accademia del Profumo in order to pay tribute to fragrances, but also “…to people whom every day spray themselves with perfume […] and to business professionals and companies that contribute to making each fragrance a unique, emotional experience.”

March 21st 2023 marks the start to an exciting week with events taking place all over Italy: these events allow the public to get acquainted with the olfactory art and the numerous attributes of the perfume world. Thanks to the Accademia del Profumo, many sensory experiences are planned and will explore the link between perfume and art, cocktails, seasonal colour analysis and technology.
